Software Engineer
Senior IT specialist responsible for managing Windows server environments, Active Directory, network security, and automation using PowerShell while supporting virtualization and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructures supporting enterprise applications.
- Implement and monitor network security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of system administration tasks.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V) and coordinate cloud service integrations.
- Provide Tier‑3 technical support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and ensure service level agreements are met.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell; experience automating deployments and reporting.
- Proficiency in network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and vulnerability remediation.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Security+).
