Software Engineer
Mid‑level IT Specialist responsible for managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, network infrastructure, security controls, and virtualization platforms while providing advanced technical support to end users.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and related services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory objects, group policies, and authentication mechanisms across the organization.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and VPN connections.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
- Deploy, configure, and support virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) for server consolidation and testing environments.
- Provide tier‑2/3 technical support, resolve complex user issues, and create documentation for standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
- Hands‑on experience with cybersecurity tools, patch management, and security incident handling.
- Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CompTIA Network+, Security+) preferred.
