Software Engineer
Entry‑level IT Specialist providing desktop, server and network support, managing user accounts, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring reliable IT service delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for Windows and Linux workstations, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software incidents.
- Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, and printer issues across the organization.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles in the IT service management tool.
- Assist with server maintenance tasks, including patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and basic Linux administration.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and common office hardware.
- Experience using an ITSM ticketing system and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
