Software Engineer
Entry‑level IT Specialist providing desktop, server and network support, managing user accounts, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and maintaining Office 365 and Windows environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for Windows workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN and VPN problems.
- Maintain and patch Windows Server operating systems and related services.
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures in the ticketing system.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple support tickets.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic scripting (PowerShell or batch) is a plus.
