Information Technology Specialist I
Software Engineer
Entry‑level IT Specialist providing desktop, server and network support, managing user accounts, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and maintaining Office 365 and Active Directory environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for Windows workstations, laptops and peripheral devices.
- Administer user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN and VPN problems.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications and security patches.
- Document incidents, solutions and knowledge‑base articles in the ticketing system.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Office 365 administration and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple support tickets.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365) are a plus.
