Software Engineer
Provides advanced technical support and system administration for network, server, and security infrastructures, leveraging Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms to ensure reliable, secure operations across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, handling user accounts, group policies, patch management, and performance tuning.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents following established protocols.
- Support cloud‑based services (e.g., AWS or Azure), including provisioning resources, managing IAM roles, and optimizing cost and performance.
- Provide tier‑2/3 technical assistance to end users, troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues, and document resolutions.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with network administration and server management in Windows and Linux environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and incident response.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
