About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Architect and maintain a secure, scalable cloud and on‑premises infrastructure that supports 250+ staff across multiple sites.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with external security advisors to protect patient data.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) and industry standards through regular audits and process improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of hardware, software, and services.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with organizational goals and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise security frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, ISO 27001).
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced certifications (CISM, CISSP, PMP) preferred.
