Mid‑level IT Business Analyst who partners with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements across waterfall, agile, and iterative projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and alignment with enterprise standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology partners to capture, clarify, and prioritize business needs using interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements artifacts—including functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and traceability matrices—that comply with enterprise standards.
- Support multiple delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative) by tailoring documentation and communication approaches to each framework.
- Facilitate requirement reviews, gap analyses, and impact assessments, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, QA, and other cross‑functional teams to guarantee that solutions meet defined requirements and quality criteria.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis within an IT environment, with proven ability to work in both agile and waterfall settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in requirements‑gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Confluence, JIRA).
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build consensus and drive decisions.
- Analytical mindset with experience analyzing data sets to validate requirements and support decision‑making.
