Information System Security Officer - ISSO

As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for protecting information systems and data from cyber threats. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the security and compliance of all systems and data. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security controls, and monitoring system activity for potential threats. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as NIST and HIPAA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and compliance, as well as experience with cloud security and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls to protect information systems and data.
• Monitor system activity for potential threats and respond to security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as NIST and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement security best practices and ensure the security and compliance of all systems and data.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Provide security training and awareness to employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and machine learning.
• Experience with AWS and Node.js.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
