About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain next‑generation firewalls and edge security devices across a multi‑regional network.
- Implement, monitor, and tune IDS/IPS and VPN solutions to detect and block threats in real time.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts (Python) for log analysis, incident response, and configuration compliance.
- Integrate network security events into SIEM platforms, generate actionable reports, and support threat‑hunting activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to apply security controls to hybrid environments and ensure alignment with corporate policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience securing enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency with IDS/IPS solutions and SIEM tools such as Splunk or QRadar.
- Strong scripting skills in Python for automation, log parsing, and incident response.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, GICSP) or equivalent practical experience.
