About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real time.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery activities across the organization.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, prioritizing remediation based on risk.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to meet HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices into the AI‑powered platform.
- Prepare and present security metrics and incident reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in information security within a regulated industry, preferably healthcare.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools and methodologies.
- Experience with HIPAA compliance, risk assessment, and security governance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
