Security Engineer
Senior Information Security Analyst responsible for managing vulnerability and incident response programs, developing security metrics, training junior analysts, and safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise information systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability management initiatives, including scanning, assessment, and remediation coordination across the organization.
- Coordinate incident response activities, conduct investigations, and produce post‑incident reports to mitigate future risks.
- Develop, track, and report on security metrics and KPIs to demonstrate program effectiveness to senior leadership.
- Mentor and train junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and security awareness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into development and operations pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on vulnerability and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in security tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Splunk, and SIEM platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
