About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls for the US BICES‑X program.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on mission‑critical systems and networks.
- Coordinate and execute incident response activities, including detection, containment, eradication, and post‑incident reporting.
- Manage and tune SIEM platforms to ensure effective monitoring, alerting, and threat hunting across distributed environments.
- Provide security guidance for cloud‑based workloads, ensuring compliance with DoD policies and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in information security, preferably within defense or intelligence domains.
- Proven expertise with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight) and incident response frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and implementing zero‑trust principles.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
