Provide expert remote support for Infinera DTN‑X deployments across UK sites, assisting field teams with installation, commissioning, turn‑up, service activation and live troubleshooting to ensure seamless optical network roll‑outs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote technical support to field engineers during installation, commissioning, turn‑up, and service activation of Infinera DTN‑X equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve live network issues, providing step‑by‑step guidance to on‑site teams.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure deployment milestones are met on schedule.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, configuration changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in post‑deployment reviews to capture lessons learned and improve support processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Infinera platforms and optical transmission systems.
- Strong remote troubleshooting skills and ability to guide field personnel effectively.
- Solid understanding of NOC operations and network commissioning practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently on a project‑based basis.
