Software Engineer
Industrial I&C Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems, ensuring reliable data communication and optimal control across the Waste Management Centre’s operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems to support plant operations and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Industrial Control System (ICS) architecture, including data communication networks and instrumentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams on control system issues.
- Lead the implementation of control system upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety standards.
- Document system designs, procedures, and maintenance plans for long‑term reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA system integration.
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, data communication protocols, and control system architecture.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex control system problems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross‑functional teams.
