Embedded Systems Engineer
Industrial Automation Engineer focused on designing, commissioning, and optimizing control systems for overhead cranes and material handling equipment, leveraging PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial Ethernet to enhance performance and safety.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic for crane and conveyor control systems.
- Integrate SCADA and HMI interfaces to provide real‑time monitoring and operator control.
- Configure and maintain industrial Ethernet networks (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP) for reliable data exchange.
- Lead commissioning, functional testing, and performance tuning of motion control drives.
- Implement safety PLC logic and conduct safety audits to meet industry standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial automation experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and motion control programming.
- Hands‑on experience with SCADA/HMI platforms (Wonderware, Ignition).
- Strong knowledge of industrial Ethernet protocols and safety PLC concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
