Software Engineer
Industrial Automation Applications Engineer driving sales and engineering support for automation solutions, leveraging PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and motion control expertise to deliver customized, high‑performance manufacturing systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to design and present automation solutions that meet customer requirements and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and configure PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA interfaces for new and existing automation projects.
- Conduct site visits, perform system integration, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation for client presentations.
- Provide post‑implementation support, training, and maintenance guidance to customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering, with strong PLC, SCADA, and HMI skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and experience with major PLC brands (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
- Hands‑on knowledge of robotics, motion control, and industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer‑facing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field preferred.
