Lead QA engineering for application development, driving test strategy, automation, and continuous integration using modern tools and Agile practices to ensure high-quality releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute comprehensive test plans for new and existing applications, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, and performance domains.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to define quality gates, resolve defects, and improve release cadence.
- Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze test metrics, report trends, and recommend process enhancements to increase test efficiency and defect detection rates.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in QA or software testing, with a strong background in application development.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) and scripting languages (Java, Python).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and test‑driven development.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
