About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑fidelity simulation environments for crew and ground‑based training of in‑space systems.
- Create detailed operational procedures, checklists, and training curricula aligned with mission objectives.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and mission planners to integrate hardware and software interfaces into training scenarios.
- Analyze training outcomes, identify performance gaps, and iterate on simulation models to improve fidelity and safety.
- Support real‑time mission operations by providing rapid training updates for new hardware or software changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing simulation or training tools for spacecraft or high‑risk technical domains.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for scripting, automation, and model development.
- Strong understanding of spacecraft systems, operations, and mission planning concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment.
