As an Implementation Configuration Specialist, you will support critical implementation projects by validating data, configuring systems, and ensuring smooth delivery of benefits administration solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, improve processes, and support successful client outcomes. The position requires strong analytical thinking, technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring employees have seamless access to essential benefits information and services.
Accountabilities:
- Review, validate, and prepare implementation materials and raw data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Configure systems according to documented business requirements, process flows, and implementation specifications.
- Support key operational processes, including annual enrollment, new service implementations, and organizational changes requiring system updates.
- Perform quality assurance reviews on configuration work to identify and resolve discrepancies before delivery.
- Maintain and improve process documentation while escalating inconsistencies or opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders and project partners to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and meet implementation objectives.
- Track workload, productivity, and project progress through accurate task management and reporting.
- Prioritize assigned activities, address escalated system configuration challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions to stay current with new system functionality, tools, and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration plan configuration or a similar implementation-focused role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review large datasets, identify patterns, organize information, and summarize findings.
- Experience working with SQL, Microsoft Access, and advanced Excel functions is preferred.
- Ability to gather and interpret business requirements, create process documentation, and understand system development workflows.
- Strong understanding of technology platforms, business processes, and process improvement methodologies.
