Senior Manager in Data Science leading cross‑functional teams to uncover business insights, build predictive models, and drive data‑driven decision making using Python, ML, SQL and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end data science projects, from problem definition to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify high‑impact opportunities, develop analytical frameworks, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate models into production pipelines on AWS.
- Oversee data quality, governance, and compliance standards across datasets.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine‑learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience deploying models to AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2).
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex findings into business‑friendly recommendations.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
