Software Engineer
Design, implement, and support Industrial Internet of Things solutions using edge computing, MQTT, OPC UA, and cloud platforms such as AWS IoT and Azure IoT. Drive integration of PLCs and industrial devices into scalable, secure IIoT architectures.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy end‑to‑end IIoT solutions, integrating PLCs, sensors, and edge devices with cloud platforms.
- Implement secure communication protocols (MQTT, OPC UA) and ensure data integrity across the network.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design system architecture, and deliver scalable deployments.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of IIoT infrastructure.
- Document solutions, create technical specifications, and provide training to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Industrial IoT, edge computing, and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of MQTT, OPC UA, and industrial communication standards.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS IoT or Azure IoT services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
