Solutions Architect
Senior ICT Technical Architect responsible for designing, implementing and governing complex technology solutions, with a focus on cloud, network and security architectures within a public safety environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑wide ICT architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain cloud, network and security reference models, providing guidance to project teams and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust technical solutions and roadmaps.
- Oversee technical governance, risk assessments and compliance activities across all ICT initiatives.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to continuous improvement of architectural standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior technical architect role within a large, complex organization, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), network engineering, and cyber security frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
