Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of IBM DataPower solutions, integrating event gateways and APIs while automating infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD on AWS and Kubernetes platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and support IBM DataPower environments across production and staging.
- Design and implement event gateway and API integration solutions, ensuring high availability and security.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of DataPower configurations and related services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible, integrating with AWS Cloud Services.
- Manage Linux and Kubernetes clusters that host DataPower and associated microservices.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization across the stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.
- Strong expertise in event gateways, API integrations, and secure data flow.
- Proven track record building and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands‑on AWS cloud deployment and administration, plus Linux and Kubernetes proficiency.
