About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans for HVDC automation hardware and software components.
- Execute functional, performance, and safety tests on high‑voltage systems, documenting results and identifying defects.
- Analyze complex system interactions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and integration challenges.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools to streamline validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry standards throughout the testing lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong background in electrical engineering with focus on high‑voltage DC systems.
- Proven experience in automation testing, including test plan creation and execution.
- Hands‑on knowledge of HVDC equipment, protection schemes, and control systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
