Software Engineer
Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA and metering systems for high‑voltage substations, ensuring reliable operation and integration with control networks using PLCs and HMI platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA architecture for high‑voltage substation environments.
- Integrate metering devices and PLCs with HMI platforms to provide real‑time monitoring and data acquisition.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and test plans.
- Collaborate with field teams to perform commissioning, testing, and validation of SCADA and metering solutions.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SCADA and metering for HV substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
- Experience with data logging, trend analysis, and alarm management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
