Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, and integration of guidance, navigation, and control systems for the Human Landing System, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance in lunar missions using advanced embedded software and simulation tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for the Human Landing System, ensuring compliance with mission safety and performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for flight-critical systems, integrating with hardware and simulation environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (propulsion, avionics, systems engineering) to define interfaces, perform trade studies, and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct rigorous testing, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and flight‑simulation, to verify system behavior under realistic conditions.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and results, and contribute to technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) for space or aerospace vehicles.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and simulation.
- Experience with embedded real‑time operating systems and hardware integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
