About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute research programs that blend anthropological insights, behavioral science, and AI techniques to inform product strategy and commercial innovation.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, mentoring researchers and coordinating with product, engineering, and client‑facing groups.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop frameworks and methodologies for human‑AI interaction studies, ensuring rigor and relevance.
- Present research outcomes to senior leadership and external partners, translating complex concepts into clear business value.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Anthropology, Behavioral Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading applied research projects that integrate AI or machine‑learning components.
- Proven ability to translate research insights into product and commercial strategies.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and external clients.
- Hands‑on experience with AI/ML tools, data analysis, and research software (e.g., Python, R, NVivo, or similar).
