HRFS Consultant - Workday Payroll
Job Summary
The HRFS Consultant - Workday Payroll serves as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expertise in Workday Payroll functionality, configuration, reporting, and best practices. This role partners closely with clients to support implementations, system optimization, issue resolution, and ongoing service delivery.
The consultant is responsible for managing project deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. This position works independently on complex client engagements while developing deep subject matter expertise in Workday Payroll and related HR and payroll processes.
Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday reports is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consulting & Service Delivery
Lead or support Workday Payroll implementations, enhancements, and ongoing client support engagements.
Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Payroll solutions.
Provide functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Partner with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
Provide consultative guidance and recommendations based on Workday leading practices and industry standards.
Troubleshoot complex payroll system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
Serve as a point of escalation for payroll-related client concerns and system issues.
Support clients through organizational, process, and system changes impacting payroll operations.

Configure and maintain Workday Payroll functionality based on client requirements.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot Workday reports
