HR Tech Analyst responsible for configuring and maintaining payroll and benefits modules within Workday, ensuring accurate pay group setup, earnings rules, and compliance while delivering reporting and system enhancements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain payroll and benefits components in the Workday environment, including pay groups, earnings, deductions, and tax settings.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, design system solutions, and implement changes that support business processes.
- Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate payroll processing and benefits enrollment.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights on payroll costs, compliance, and benefits utilization.
- Stay current with Workday releases, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve system functionality.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience configuring payroll and benefits modules in Workday or a comparable HRIS.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Excel, SQL).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
