The HR Data Analyst delivers high‑quality people data, insights and reporting across the employee lifecycle, supporting strategic decisions, reward analysis, and governance using SQL, Python and visualization tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into workforce metrics, turnover, recruitment, and performance.
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and Python to support strategic HR initiatives and evidence‑based decision making.
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance across the full employee lifecycle, establishing standards and documentation.
- Provide analytical support for reward activities, including Gender Pay Gap reporting, remuneration benchmarking and annual pay review processes.
- Collaborate with People team stakeholders and business leaders to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR analytics or people data analysis, with strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and strong Excel skills for reporting and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle data, and reward structures, including gender pay gap and compensation benchmarking.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
