Systems Engineer
Senior HPC Systems Engineer responsible for translating user requirements into detailed system specifications, designing high‑performance architectures, and leading integration and optimization efforts using Linux, Python, and C++.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and high‑level architectures to produce detailed system requirement specifications.
- Lead the design and development of HPC system architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership for integrating hardware, software, and networking components into production environments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend optimal approaches for system upgrades and new deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting Linux‑based high‑performance computing clusters.
- Strong proficiency in system architecture concepts and performance optimization techniques.
- Hands‑on programming/scripting experience with Python and C++ for automation and tool development.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into actionable designs and documentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to guide cross‑functional teams through technical challenges.
