Software Engineer
Lead the technical vision for a next‑generation hovercar platform, driving architecture, safety, and integration across hardware, software, and controls teams using Python, C++, ROS, and cloud‑native DevOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the overall technical architecture for the hovercar platform, ensuring scalability, safety, and manufacturability.
- Lead cross‑disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software, controls) through agile development cycles, setting clear milestones and quality standards.
- Oversee safety‑critical design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with automotive and aerospace regulations.
- Drive continuous integration, automated testing, and cloud‑based deployment pipelines (AWS) to accelerate feature delivery.
- Collaborate with product, business, and investor stakeholders to translate technical strategy into measurable milestones.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior engineering leadership in complex hardware/software systems, preferably in automotive or aerospace.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS for real‑time control and simulation.
- Deep experience with embedded systems, safety engineering (ISO 26262, DO-178C), and regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of investor‑facing technical presentations.
