About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Own the automation engine (“playbooks”) and AI‑assisted flow logic, integrating with real‑time messaging infra.
- Collaborate closely with product and data teams to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable code.
- Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for large‑scale messaging workloads.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to maintain code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack development experience, with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong background in JavaScript (ES6+), front‑end frameworks, and real‑time communication patterns.
- Proven ability to build and scale data‑intensive, messaging‑centric systems.
- Experience with AI/ML integration or automation workflows is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for shipping high‑quality products quickly.
