Data Scientist
Lead AI-driven analysis of medical claims to uncover prescribing patterns, build digital twin models, and deliver scalable forecasting and segmentation for pharmaceutical market research.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hands‑on analysis of medical and pharmacy claims data, including EHR datasets, to extract actionable insights on HCP prescribing behavior.
- Develop and maintain synthetic audience models (“Digital Twins”) that replicate provider prescribing patterns and patient treatment journeys.
- Collaborate with qualitative researchers to integrate real‑world data with market research findings, enhancing segmentation and forecasting accuracy.
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality, reproducibility, and performance.
- Present findings to cross‑functional teams, translating complex analytics into clear business recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong background in healthcare data analytics, including claims and EHR data.
- Hands‑on experience building synthetic data models and digital twins.
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical results into business insights.
