Software Engineer
Lead data-driven insights for large health systems, building predictive models, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Tableau, and AWS to reduce readmissions and improve care navigation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest clinical and operational data from multiple sources.
- Build and deploy predictive models and machine‑learning algorithms to identify care gaps and readmission risks.
- Create interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for clinicians, administrators, and executives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, clinicians, and product teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data quality assessments to ensure actionable insights.
- Document methodologies, model performance, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or data science roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
