General duties of the Health Systems Specialist Mid.:
- Creation of UAT Plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and identification of acceptance criteria. The UAT test plan outlines the strategy for verifying that an application meets its business requirements. The contractor will document test scenarios to identify the high-level business processes and create test cases with clear test steps. Test Cases should sufficiently cover most of the UAT scenarios. The UAT Team shall review the results from SQA testing and will ensure the functionality and end-user viability in the new product. The contractor will work with testers and end users to gather acceptance criteria.
- Execution of UAT Tests: The contractor shall coordinate and, where appropriate, serve as subject matter experts in executing test cases and compile and report any defects. Re-test defects once fixed.
- Confirm Business Objectives met: Once all the tests are run and the results are in hand, the contractor will coordinate with the UAT Testers to accept or reject the product. After sign-off, the product is approved for production.
- Participate in virtual meetings with the Informatics project and client staff.
- Provide support for HL7 international data standards initiatives.
- Work closely with the Federal Client program office staff and JPSys Project Manager to enable the exchange of patient health information with Federal, state, and local Public Health registries to analyze and improve clinical workflows and improve the health of the population at large.
- Assist Senior project staff to manage health standards programs and processes throughout the development life cycle to support setting program direction, standards, and measurements for evaluation of program implementation.
- Advanced support in preparing reports, dashboards, progress updates, and presentations for federal briefing to key senior executives on all aspects of assigned programs.
- Support in conducting project reviews, document reviews, and technical evaluations.
- Must be skilled and highly diplomatic in stakeholder outreach and communications, as well as governance activities.
- Ensure all project documentation requirements, deliverables, and procedures are compliant.
- Support the development and implementation of product release plans.
- Support data standards programs and processes through the contract life cycle.
- Support all tasks across the PWS requirements.
