About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support to the ACOD/GPM and all ambulatory care services, ensuring seamless integration of primary, mental health, surgery, and medicine clinics into a unified Clinic Practice Management model.
- Oversee clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization to improve patient access and care quality.
- Collaborate with community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) to align processes, share best practices, and maintain consistent standards across sites.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between clinical teams, administrative leadership, and external partners to facilitate communication and resolve operational challenges.
Requirements
- Experience in health informatics or clinical operations within an ambulatory care setting.
- Strong understanding of clinic practice management principles and patient access strategies.
- Proven ability to analyze data, drive quality improvement, and implement process changes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Knowledge of Veterans Health Administration policies and community‑based outpatient care is a plus.
