About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Ambulatory Care Operations Director and Group Practice Manager in managing day‑to‑day operations of the facility’s ambulatory services.
- Coordinate access to care initiatives, ensuring timely appointments and efficient patient flow across the main site and Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement quality improvement projects that enhance patient experience and care outcomes.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, develop actionable solutions, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between the facility and external partners, facilitating communication and resource sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in ambulatory care operations or health system management within a large healthcare organization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Commitment to veteran care and understanding of VA health system policies.
