ML Engineer
Lead a high‑impact ML & AI team, driving end‑to‑end product innovation across a global gifting platform using Python, deep learning, and cloud services to deliver personalized experiences at scale.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the ML & AI strategy, aligning with product and engineering roadmaps.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, and researchers to build scalable models for personalization, recommendation, and content generation.
- Own the full model lifecycle: data acquisition, feature engineering, experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Advocate for best practices in model governance, reproducibility, and ethical AI across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering or data science with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).
- Proven track record delivering production‑grade ML systems at scale.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Passion for creating delightful user experiences through data‑driven insights.
