Engineering Manager
Lead the engineering support function, driving reliability, automation, and incident response across cloud platforms using DevOps practices, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the engineering support team to ensure high availability and performance of production services.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
- Drive automation of deployment, configuration, and incident response processes to reduce mean time to recovery.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to define and enforce best practices for reliability and compliance.
- Analyze incident data, conduct post‑mortems, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on operations and reliability.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling DevOps or SRE teams.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD), and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
