About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a group of Engineering Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for large‑scale, distributed systems built on Java and JavaScript stacks.
- Architect, design, and oversee implementation of cloud‑native solutions on Azure and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to align engineering output with business goals in a fast‑paced environment.
- Establish engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Engineering or senior engineering leader managing multiple engineering managers.
- Strong hands‑on background in Java, JavaScript and building distributed systems.
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to scale high‑performing engineering teams in complex, fast‑moving environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
