About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical stewardship across all engineering projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and safety risks.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage capital and operational budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, health and safety legislation, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define strategic direction, drive innovation, and support business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience (8+ years) in senior engineering leadership roles within facilities management or related sectors.
- Strong background in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex projects from conception to delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
