About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PhD qualified software team leader to build and lead an AI and Machine Learning team, building and deploying new products and solutions. This role will drive the application of analytics, AI and ML knowledge improving the efficiency and quality of company services, raising awareness of potential applications for AI/ML within the organisation. Providing AI, Machine Learning and strategic input to projects, addressing the thinking and strategic planning for design, implementation and direction.

Responsibilities

Create algorithms to extract information from large data sets.
Use and implement open source tools including Python, R and TensorFlow.
Design and develop a framework for the building, testing and deployment of models into a large scale, highly performing and customer critical production environment.
Lead and manage a software team, ideally remotely.
Drive projects from concept through to delivery.

Requirements

PhD or Master in a scientific subject.
Relevant experience in applying AI and Machine Learning to real world situations.
Significant experience leading a software team.
Experience in delivering solutions within the Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
