About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the analytics engineering roadmap, aligning product vision with client workflow requirements across cross‑asset, fund, private‑markets, and predictive analytics.
- Architect, build, and maintain production‑grade data pipelines and analytics services using distributed technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Drive the integration of AI/ML models into pricing, risk, and derived‑metric solutions, ensuring model governance, scalability, and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and finance experts to translate business needs into robust, reusable analytics components.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering, with a strong background in financial services or related domains.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and large‑scale processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).
- Hands‑on experience deploying AI/ML models in production and managing model lifecycle.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring).
- Demonstrated leadership ability to build and scale engineering teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
