Hardware Testing Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end PCB design, simulation, and power‑supply development using Altium, Eagle, and advanced simulation tools. Focuses on high‑ and low‑power circuits, EMC, thermal, and power integrity to ensure robust product performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and layout PCBs using Altium and Eagle, ensuring compliance with EMC, thermal, and power‑integrity rules.
- Develop and validate high‑ and low‑power circuits, including DC‑DC converters, flyback converters, and cap‑drop power supplies.
- Perform detailed simulations with LTspice, Pspice, and TINA‑TI to verify design performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Create and maintain PCB layer stack‑ups, routing guidelines, and trace width calculations.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to integrate hardware with system requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PCB design and power‑supply development.
- Strong proficiency in Altium, Eagle, LTspice, Pspice, and TINA‑TI.
- Deep understanding of EMC, thermal management, and power‑integrity principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
