QA Engineer
Design and execute ground‑based test programs for eVTOL hardware, validating performance, safety and certification requirements using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB and aerospace standards such as DO‑254.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures and rigs for electric rotorcraft hardware components, including power electronics, motors and avionics.
- Execute ground‑based functional, environmental and RF tests, collect and analyze data using Python, MATLAB and LabVIEW.
- Verify compliance with aerospace certification standards (e.g., DO‑254, MIL‑STD‑810) and generate test reports for design reviews.
- Collaborate with design, systems and safety engineers to troubleshoot failures, recommend design improvements and close non‑conformances.
- Maintain test equipment calibration, configuration control and documentation in accordance with quality management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware testing for aerospace or high‑performance electric systems.
- Proficiency in test automation and data analysis using Python, MATLAB and LabVIEW.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace certification standards such as DO‑254 and experience with RF/EMI test equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
