About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve system architecture for endoscopy devices, aligning electrical, RF, firmware, and mechanical components.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware, firmware, and mechanical designs, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive technical decision‑making, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardware systems engineering for medical devices.
- Deep expertise in RF communications, firmware integration, and mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, IEC 60601) and quality systems.
- Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
