Software Engineer
Responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced hardware systems through rigorous testing, quality control processes, and failure analysis, using test automation and PCB design expertise in a mission‑critical environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for electronic hardware, including functional, environmental, and stress testing.
- Implement and maintain automated test frameworks to increase coverage and reduce cycle time.
- Perform root‑cause failure analysis, document findings, and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and firmware teams to verify PCB layouts, component selections, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain quality metrics, generate reports, and ensure compliance with government and military standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in hardware QA, test automation, and failure analysis.
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, environmental chambers) and scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles and manufacturing tolerances.
- Ability to work in a secure environment and obtain required clearances.
