Embedded Systems Engineer
Design and develop automotive hardware components, creating detailed CAD models, performing analysis, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams using SolidWorks, CATIA, GD&T, FEA, MATLAB, and C++.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and drawings of automotive hardware using SolidWorks and CATIA.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis and MATLAB simulations to validate performance and durability.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to integrate hardware into vehicle systems.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and design specifications throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware design for automotive or related industries.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, GD&T, and FEA tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in MATLAB and C++ for modeling and simulation.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication within multidisciplinary teams.
